3D Head Model by gndagnor 3D Head Model by gndagnor
I DID IT! And I figured out how to render the head. No wonder the texture on the last pic looks so pixelated hahaha! Took sometime to get all the eyes, ears, mouth, eyebrow, etc. placements almost exatly where they're supposed to be. It looks so nice haha!

I now know how freakin hard it is to make 3d...I've skimped a lot and used as little polygons (is that the correct term?) as I could. I can't Imagine the ones that require hundreds and thousands!!

If you still want to see the old 3d head freak show, it's at:

Oh snap! This is like a 3d anime version of my actual face! If I was doing a 3D look of myself, this would be the face I would go for. XD Aw man! I think I'm being watched. XD Nah, I'm sure it's coincidence. All you need is to add the black curly hair with a V hair lining, and you got a character of me. XD

Great head model, if I do say so myself. hehe. The model even has my smile. LOL Dang...that's scary.

Mwahahaha yes! Combing the internets for tutorials. Seems to be lots of them but it takes time to find the one that I actually want. I need to go find a mentor to ask about stuff :P

LOL! now that's what I call double faced! :XD: hehe~ emm but it's not such a big problem to fix, you only need to fix the surface's mapping ID /coordinates ne.. Ganbatte! It's looking great so far!

Oh my god, he has a face on the back of his head! That's creepy!

This is sort of off topic, but if you look at the Daisy Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee on GameCube and you position the camera somewhere inside of her head (around the back of it, I think), there is an eye beneath here hair.

Yeah, this reminded me of that.

Anyway, this is so awesome! It's very close to looking like just a piece of 2D artwork as opposed to being 3D (that's a compliment, by the way, not an insult). With some practice and effort, you are going to make some really amazing stuff.

Thanks! I'll be trying to make a full body 3D of some of my characters. I'll be trying to make it look as close to my drawings as I possibly can! It's so exciting

lol @ the freakyness~

I thought it didn't look bad, especially since its your first time for 3D right? Its a pity about the whole hours wasted part, though. That is something one will definitely remember not to repeat! xD

Give him a real name already, lol!!!

Wow, you've gone all out animation stations lately!! :D
I love this model!! <3 I get my models made for me even though I could do it mahself, coz I prefer the animation stages. I hates 3D max. Are his materials just a bit of ink paint or...?
