Grimdor, the Griffinby ~gndagnor

Ahaha, just a random name for this griffin. He'll be featuring in my comic for

comics collection book! This is just one of the many pre-production works. This version of Grimdor was influenced by Jose Lopez (one of the character designers of The Batman). I'm trying to push the way I design characters. I think the action lines between the wings and the body suck...The original version of Grimdor is at my blog, if ya wanna see <

I was watching the little storyboard animation thing... and I was like, "OMG! BOY RIDING GRYPHON! Must find Gryphon Artist!" <3 Gryphons! Grimdor looks so cool and stoic and superhero-ish!

Bought MnU's 2nd Edition Artbook and I gotta say, "Gem Hunter" was one of my favourites. ^^ It's great to see a close up of that griffin. And in colour too! You really have a talent which I'm glad to find.
